Holistic healing means that physical health is not the only focus, but that overall wellness and “wholeness” is the goal. Holistic healing addresses all parts of the individual, going far beyond the mind-body connection.
All aspects of our existence are considered, such as physical and emotional well-being, mental health and our spiritual beliefs . Taking a holistic approach involves not only seeking the appropriate tools, which will help us attract our desires, but also finding our personal power.
The role of the holistic healer is to recognise, that while an imbalance may manifest as a physical symptom, the cause may be the result of mental, emotional or spiritual needs, not being met. Therefore all aspects of a person are considered.
I look first at the “Whole person” in order to make a complete evaluation, and then use all the information gathered before suggesting any treatment. My suggestions are based upon a personal, intuitive approach to each individual. I find it is beneficial if I describe the variety of re-balancing mind-body-spirit methods, as you may decide which method resonates the best.
